Yesterday, after a delicious lunch of Kebaps, we went into the city one last time before Dad's arrival.
A kebap is a Turkish dish made out of roasted meat cooked vertically. The meat is shaved off and put into a sandwich! They are absolutely delicious. |
We also walked around the student area near the Vienna University. We passed this gothic style, Votive Church, found in the area.
Waiting for the 49er streetcar. Go 49ers! |
Steve met us at a famous brewery for dinner and we sat outside in the courtyard.
Mom tried her first wiener schnitzel and vinegar potato salad. |
I woke up early this morning and met Dad at the airport. Unfortunately, the airline lost his luggage, but despite this set-back, Dad was in good spirits!
Happy Reunion!
