Schonbrun Palace and Zoo

Welcome back blobbers!  Today we visited the Schonbrun Palace in Vienna which served as the summer residence of the Habsburg monarchs.
We look extra happy because we just completed the long, uphill walk to the lookout.  The difficult walk was definitely worth the view!

The oldest zoo in the world is also found at Schonbrun.  We went in for Emilie's sake and thoroughly enjoyed it!  We saw many animals we have never seen before.

It rained the whole time but, as a result, the animals stayed in their indoor habitats so we got close looks!

Mom attempted to cook her chicken pot pie with foreign ingredients when we returned home.  It was not quite the same but still edible.  Ruth and Steve also went out to eat to celebrate their 20th Anniversary!
